Frank L. “Cooter” Gore, 85, of Silsbee, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023. He was born in Kountze to the late Walter Brown Gore and Corine Jenkins Gore.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 9 at North Hardin Baptist Church in Silsbee under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with burial following at Gore Cemetery in Silsbee. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. the day of service at the church.
He retired from the Texas Highway Department and was the owner of Gore’s Dump Truck Service for 40 years. He was also co-owner of Shirley’s Sno-Cones.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Shirley Gore; son, Cheyenne Gore and wife Sue; brother, Franklin Gore and wife Hazel; and five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
