Hazel Burge

Hazel Poe Burge, 83, of Lumberton, Texas passed away Friday, April 26, 2024 at her home after a courageous battle with dementia. She was born in Waterford, Mississippi to the late Howard Montgomery and Mamie Poe. She retired from Texas Department of Transportation in 1995.

Funeral service was Wednesday, May 1 at Lumberton Family Funeral Home in Lumberton with burial following at Leatherwood Cemetery in Rosehill Acres.

Survivors include her daughter, DeeAnn Burge of Lumberton; siblings, Larry Poe, Jimmy Poe, and Richard Poe, all of Lumberton; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
