James Freeman

James Wayne Freeman, 58, of Woodville, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023. He was born in Kountze to Henry Freeman and Barbara West.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, March 3 at Chapel in the Pines Church in Spurger under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with burial following at Fred Community Cemetery in Fred. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday at the church.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Rhonda Freeman of Town Bluff; daughter, Ashlea Champagne and husband Brian of Town Bluff; son, T.J. Freeman and wife Kelly of Nederland; brothers, John Freeman of Liberty and Michael Mathis and wife Renee of Fred; sisters, Maggie Mickan and husband Darrell of Point Blank and Valinda Gordon of Liberty; and five grandchildren.
