James Russell

James Edward Russell, 78, of Silsbee, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024. He was born in Beaumont to Velma Tatum Russell and Gordon Russell.

Funeral service was Saturday, January 6 at Broussard’s Mortuary in Silsbee with burial following at William Hart Cemetery in Kountze.

Survivors include his children, James G. Russell, Geneva Neugent, and Mary Buffington and husband Billy, all of Buna, Anthony Russell and wife Rebecca of Kountze, Robert Willey and wife Wynette of Buna, and David Willey and wife Rose of Gist; siblings, Gordon Wayne Russell of Kountze, JoAnn VanBrocklin and husband Raymond of Lumberton, and Curtis Russell of Honey Island; and 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
