Jody Adkins

Jody Lynn Adkins, 39, of Kountze, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston.

Funeral service will be at 2 pm Wednesday, June 28, at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Buna with burial at Antioch Cemetery in Buna. Visitation was from 6-8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.

Jody was born February 22, 1984 in Beaumont to Thomas Little and Carolyn Hooks Little. She was raised in Silsbee and was a former resident of Lumberton and had lived in Kountze since 2017. She was a paramedic for Allegiance Ambulance.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Adkins of Kountze; daughters, Skyler West and Adelyn Adkins; parents, Tommy Little and Carolyn Little of Silsbee; sister, Brandi Jones and husband Zona of Waco; and brother, Harley Garoutte and Brittany of Silsbee.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Audrey McIntyre.
