JOE MORSE

Joe Lee Morse, 58, of Silsbee, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. He was born on November 8, 1964 in Houston, Texas to James Morse Sr. and Eva Hooks Morse and was a lifelong resident of Silsbee. He was a carpenter by trade.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Eva Hooks Weeks and John Morgan Weeks Sr.; father, James Morse Sr.; sister, Kathy Morse Prine; nephew, Jeremy Prine; and great-niece, Cally Sanford.

Survivors include his siblings, Debbie Morse Gordon and husband Terry, Eveone Morse Kelly and husband Jim, James Morse Jr., Roy Lee Morse Bohler, and John “Boomer” Weeks Jr.; and special niece, Tasha Prine, all of Silsbee.

A memorial service for Joe will be held at a later date. Cremation was under the direction of Broussard’s Mortuary in Silsbee.

Joe Lee was a special person and will be greatly missed.
