JOHNNIE GORE

Johnnie Lynn Gore passed away peacefully at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, Texas on October 21, 2023.

Johnnie Lynn was born in Beaumont, Texas on January 31, 1976. He grew up in Silsbee, Texas and graduated from Silsbee High School in 1995, where he was a member of the FFA. After graduation from SHS, he worked for the United Steel Workers Union Local 13-243. Johnnie Lynn became a Welder/Master Mechanic, and worked several years for Econo-rail Corp. For the remainder of his life, Johnnie Lynn worked as a Loader/Equipment Operator in the logging industry. It’s been said that Johnnie Lynn was capable of operating any and all heavy equipment in the logging field.

Johnnie Lynn was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie and Donna Gore; and both sets of grandparents, Herbert and Shirley Gore and Larry and Janet Dunnigan.

He is survived by his son, Tristan Gore; siblings, Jimmy Gore, Jamie Gore and Angie Gore; aunts, Barbara Sharp and Rachelle Stimits; uncles, Tony Gore, Shawn Dunnigan, Sean Dunnigan, and Evans Dunnigan; and a number of cousins including William Drake II, Kristi Anderson, Daniel Drake, Kayla Frazier, Cody Drake, Brandie Musik, Heather Hollyfield, Jessica Dunnigan, and Canton Dunnigan. Johnnie Lynn also left behind special friends, Linda Greenleaf and Charles Greenleaf.

A memorial service will be officiated by Pastor Robert Hall at the Happy Valley Church in Kountze at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 11, 2023.
