Jose Nicholas “Nick” Rodriguez, 71, passed away Monday, May 8, 2023. He was born in Kountze to Susie B. Risner Rodriguez and Rito Rodriguez.

Funeral service was Friday, May 12 at Broussard’s Mortuary in Silsbee with burial following at Resthaven Cemetery in Silsbee.

Survivors include his daughter, Casaundra McCormick and husband Rodie of Canton; stepson, Issac Parish of Silsbee; siblings, Joe Rodriguez and wife Jane, Mona Duce and husband Jerry, Rita Flowers and husband Kevin, Cathy Gatewood and husband Bobby, and Tina Allison, all of Kountze; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
