Joseph Wilary Firmin, 96, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2024 in Beaumont, Texas. He was born in Plaucheville, Louisiana to the late Louis Firmin and Eula Du-Four-Firmin. He was a United States Navy World War II veteran and retired from Texaco with 38 years’ service.
Funeral service was Monday, April 22 at Central Baptist Church in Buna under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with burial following at Antioch Cemetery in Buna.
Survivors include his children, Kenth Firmin and wife Darlene, Connie Sadler, Mary Wallace and husband Kent, Terry Firmin and wife Barbara, Llara Firmin-Lira and husband Mark, Tara Firmin-Hecht and husband Marty McGough, Carroll Hebert and wife Theresa, Becky Richard and husband Bobby, Georgia Johnson and husband Brian, Bambi Hebert and husband Steve Monk, and son, Bill Hebert; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
