June Walton

June Elizabeth Walton, 84, of Lumberton, passed away Saturday, July 1, 2023. She was born in Nederland to the late Frank Aubrey Howell and Emily May Mize Howell.

Funeral service was at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 5 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with burial following at Walton Cemetery in Lumberton.

She was a primary school teacher at Lumberton ISD for 30 years and was a member of the Texas State Teachers Association as well as the Boot Scooters.

Survivors include her sons, Alan Walton and wife Nicole and Ryan Walton and wife Courtney; brother, David Howell; and seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
