Kayrn Mahair

Kayrn Delea Brummett Mahair, 74, passed away peacefully September 9, 2023. She was born in Hardin County.

She was proceeded in death by her late husband, Mikeal Mahair; parents, Julius and Helen Brummett; and brother, Gary Brummett.

She was a lifelong resident of Lumberton, Texas. Kayrn enjoyed her family time, her cats she rescued, and she discovered that she had a affinity for traveling late in life. She moved to North Dakota a year ago with her niece, Marlo Mahair Jacobson, so she could care for her health care needs.

She has cousins, nieces, and extended family members in the Southeast Texas area she adored as well. She was a elegant woman with a heart as big as the sun. She lit up a room just by her sweet presence. She left her imprint on everyone she met in life. She will be dearly missed.

Memorial services will be held at a later date in Texas. In leu of flowers, we ask for donations to be sent to the ASPCA.
