LORI WEAVER

Lori Lea Weaver, 44, of Mauriceville, Texas passed away peacefully in her home, with family by her side, on Saturday, November 4, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Friday, November 10, 2023, at Silver Oaks Baptist Church with Pastor Ed Rawls and David Hendricks officiating. Rite of Committal and interment will immediately follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation of family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Dorman Funeral Home.

Lori was born on Friday, February 16, 1979, to Wayne and Beverly Baumann in Beaumont, Texas. Lori was happily married to her soulmate, Kenneth Weaver, Jr., on February 23, 2013. They resided in Mauriceville, Texas. Lori was a member of Silver Oaks Baptist Church in Orange, Texas. She loved her church family, and she loved seeing the smile on the kids’ faces in Vacation Bible School, where she did crafts. Lori was a Christian woman, who was not afraid to show the love of God, through her smile and personality. Lori also loved to go to the deer camp and deer hunt. She had a successful career in cosmetology for 25 years.

Lori is survived by her husband, Kenneth Weaver, Jr., of Mauriceville, Texas; son, Dakota Williford (Hailee) of Vidor, Texas; daughters, Alisha McDuff (Jared) of Mauriceville, Texas, Harley Williford (Ben) of Silsbee, Texas, Kelsey Weaver (Leto) of Orange, Texas, and Katelyn Weaver of Mauriceville, Texas; parents, Wayne and Beverly Baumann of Silsbee, Texas; brothers, Wayne Baumann of Silsbee, Texas and Michael Baumann (Ashley) of Silsbee, Texas; sister, Lindsey Frazier (Don) of Kountze, Texas; grandkids, Aidenn Williams, Trevor McDuff, Brently Cantrell, Jessey “Juju” Smith, Kovan Valencia, Korbin Valencia, Kilynn Valencia, Kyree Reed, and one grandson due in February 2024.

Preceding Lori is death are her grandparents, Sam and Billie Humble and Ed and Lillie Baumann; uncles, Michael Humble and Sammy Humble; and aunt, Delaney Parr.

Honoring Lori as pallbearers are Tyron Glawson, Evan Hollie, Joe Sipole, Rocky Bridges, Jose Sanchez, and Lloyd McClendon and honorary pallbearer, Leto Valencia.
