MERILYN MAZE

Mrs. Merilyn Maze, 77, of Silsbee, departed this earth on Sunday, December 31, 2023. Merilyn Garrett Maze was born on November 23, 1946, In Kountze, Texas, to the late Frank Van D Garrett and the late Azzie Lee Miller Garrett of Silsbee, Texas.

She leaves to cherish her memory and legacy to her three sons, Gerald Maze (Nikki), Eldwin Garrett of Beaumont, Texas, and Draonon Maze (Charlene) of Barling, Arkansas; sister, Frankie Harvey of Beaumont, Texas; and brothers, Leonard Garrett of Desoto, Texas, Don Garrett (Gracie) of Beaumont, Texas, Reginald Garrett (Rhonda) of Somerset, New Jersey, Raleigh Garrett (Irene) of Silsbee, Texas, Albert Miller of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Camel Miller (Emma) of Baytown, Texas, Deborah Sullivan (Jerry) of San Antonio, Texas, and Gregory Garrett of Silsbee, Texas.

Merilyn was proceeded in death by her late husband, Charlie Maze; her parents, Frank Van D and Azzie Lee Miller Garrett; two sisters, Mona D. Jamison and Tempie Mae Simpson; brother, Oran Wayne Garrett; and grandson, Geremy Maze.

Service will be on January 13, 2024, at First Baptist Missionary Church in Silsbee, Texas. Visitation will be from 10 am to 12 pm, and services will begin at 12.
