Mildred Bumstead

Mildred Sue Bumstead, 87, of Kountze, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2022. She was born in Bronson, Texas to Avie Whitehead Ruso and James Ruso.

Funeral service was Tuesday, December 13 at Central Baptist Church in Buna under the direction of Broussard’s Mortuary in Silsbee with burial following at Franks Branch Cemetery in Fred.

Survivors include her sons, Robert Bumstead Jr and wife Kathy, Mike Bumstead and wife Mary, and Rusty Bumstead and wife Michelle, all of Kountze and Tommy Bumstead and wife Honey of Houston; daughters, Kathy Fugitt and husband Mike of Brookeland, and Lisa Coward and Dena Bumstead, both of Beaumont; brother, Glen Ruso of Buna; and 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
