Myrtis Gilmore

Myrtis Lucille Gilmore, 102, of Missouri City, Texas and a former longtime resident of Silsbee, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024. She was born in Montgomery County, Texas to the late Edward Bloodsworth and Dora Alsbrooks Bloodsworth.

Funeral service was Monday, April 1 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with burial following at R.S. Farmer Memorial Cemetery in Silsbee.

Survivors include her children, Margaret Sojka of Houston, Linda Migura of Missouri City, and Donna Scruggs and husband Mark of Lakedale, Florida; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
