Saturday, March 23 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the afternoon there will be a gathering at Broussard’s in Silsbee of all Coach Strong’s friends, students and anyone who had a funny story or remembrance they would like to share or just say goodbye to their favorite teacher, coach, or drivers ed teacher is welcome. We were together 63 years, and he would come home with many funny stories. He loved Silsbee and was proud of being a Tiger and of the many wonderful young people who passed through his teams and classes. I am sure he will be listening and smiling at all those there.
