Robert Franklin Ramer Sr., 89, of Spurger, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2023. He was born in Spurger to the late Ben J. Ramer and Ruth Cunningham Ramer.
A Masonic service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 21 at Turner Branch Cemetery in Spurger.
He was an electrician with Eldridge Electric for over 22 years and was and electrical inspector for the City of Beaumont for 17 years before retiring. He held a master electrical license for many years. He was a 66-year member of IBEW Local Union 479, a 59-year member of Snow River Masonic Lodge #385 in Spurger, a member of Spurger Eastern Star Chapter #315, and a member of the Texas Scottish Rite in Galveston. He was also a member of the Spurger Lions Club.
Survivors include daughter, Teri Wells; son, Robert Ramer Jr. and Stacey; and four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
