Ruby Ruggles

Ruby Lee Ruggles, 83, passed away at her home Thursday, March 7, 2024. She was born in Shreveport, Louisiana to Hazel and Fred Yount.

Funeral service was Tuesday, March 12 at Pinecrest Baptist Church in Silsbee with burial following at Antioch Cemetery in Buna under the direction of Broussard’s Mortuary in Silsbee.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Johnny Ruggles Sr.; sons, Johnny Ruggles Jr. and wife Judy and Keith Ruggles Sr., all of Silsbee; brothers, Fred Banberg and wife Paulene of Copperas Cove and Tommy Yount and wife Edna of Houston; sisters, Gloria Johnson and Carolyn Galavitz and husband Charles, all of Houston; and four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
