Tena King

Tena Elaine King, 59, of Bronson, Texas passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2024. She was born in Liberty to Roberta E. Ussery Burk and Charles E. Burk.

A longtime resident of Silsbee and a 1983 graduate of Silsbee High School, she worked for Brookshire Bros. in Silsbee for over 30 years where she was a bakery manager. She then moved to Bronson where she managed the bakery and deli at Brookshire Bros. in Joquin.

Survivors include her husband, John Paul King; children, JoDee Jordan and husband Chris of Silsbee, Corey King and wife Sarah of Fred, and Molly Drake and husband Walter of Silsbee; parents, Roberta and Charles Burk; siblings, Robert Heim and wife Linda of Spurger, Randall Heim and wife Lisa of Liberty, and Charles Waylon Burk and wife Dan Anne of Silsbee; and seven grandchildren.

Cremation was under the direction of Broussard’s Mortuary in Silsbee.
