Wilmer loved being with his family and friends. He started his mornings before the sun rose reading his Bible. He was an avid gardener. He tended his flowers, and his fruits and vegetables with amazing results. He shared his bounty (especially his satsumas) with family, friends, neighbors, and acquaintances. When told that he had a green thumb, he would always respond that it was “all God’s doing”. Wilmer could fix just about anything and was always willing to share these skills. He loved watching his birds and taking care of the family dog. Wilmer’s “one of a kind” presence will be greatly missed.
