Kountze girls off to fast start in 2022-23 basketball action

The Kountze Lady Lions ran their early season record to 4-0 with a pair of wins 42-34 over Nederland and 76-52 over Hull-Daisetta. Keyiona McDaniel got the Lions out of the gate against Nederland when she hit for ten first quarter points against the Lions’ 5A opponents. Kountze led 14-5 at the end of the first period.
