The Kountze girls basketball team dominated the District 22-3A all district selections. The sad thing for other coaches in the district is that all of the selections were underclassmen.
The group is led by Keyiona McDaniel who is a junior and was named as the District MVP. She averaged 26 points per game with 4.5 steals per game, five rebounds and 2.5 assists per game.
