The Kountze Lady Lions have firmly entrenched themselves as one of the top teams in 3A in this area. They are off to a 22-2 start and are 5-0 in district play.
Last week they defeated Warren by a 52-22 score and East Chambers by a 44-36 score. Tuesday they played Anahuac.
This week they will host Kirbyville on Friday and then they will go to Orangefield next Tuesday.
