The Lumberton Boys Soccer team advanced to the state tournament with a 2-1 win over Calhoun in the Regional Tournament on Friday and a 3-0 win over El Campo in the Regional Championship game on Saturday.
The Friday game against Calhoun was a tough one. Lumberton took a 1-0 lead in the first half and held that lead until the half. After the half each team scored one goal in the second half.
