Silsbee’s Raydrian Baltrip scores more points than anyone

  • Raydrian Baltrip flies with a hop,skip and jump on his way to a near record leap in the triple jump at the district track meet. The outstanding Silsbee senior was the high point man in the track meet. He won the triple jump with a leap of 47’3”, the long jump at 22’2” and won the 200 meter dash. Raydrian Baltrip won three events and ran a leg on two relays. He was in the 4x200 meter relay and the 4x100 relay as Silsbee scored 88 points to place fourth in the UIL District 19-4A track meet. Londen Jessie picked up another first place finish for Silsbee. Lumberton was in sixth place in the meet which was a fairly close meet that was won by Jasper with 126 points.
