Silsbee takes regional title, headed to quarterfinals

The Silsbee Tigers took a step forward on a rainy night in Spring and recorded the schools’ first ever 13-win football season. The unbeaten Tiger squad battled Madisonville in the Regional round of the playoffs and claimed a 60-20 victory. Despite the weather, Coach Randy Smith stated that the Tigers played the whole game. He described the first half as a roller coaster with all of the fumbles…
