Simmons throws shutout in 2-0 victory over Jasper

Logan Simmons threw a shutout to lead the Silsbee Tigers past Jasper 2-0 on Monday. The pitching was strong on both sides as Simmons struck out 11 and Jasper pitchers sat down six. The Tigers took the lead in the second inning when a wild pitch allowed one run to cross the plate. Then the Tigers picked up a another run in the third inning.
