Sour Lake Lions Sponsor Isabella for Lions Camp

This year the Sour Lake Lions are sponsoring an 8-year-old named Isabella for Texas Lions Camp. A Sour Lake Lion wore her Lion tee shirt to an ecosystem restoration event recently at the Big Thicket National Preserve and was approached by a family member looking for a Lion sponsor for Isabella. The club eagerly accepted. “Izzie” was ecstatic about her first time away from home overnight and the opportunity of being with other children like her.

Silsbee Radiator Service, located at the corner of State Highway 327 and Third Street, is celebrating 50 years of service. It would almost seem like a miracle that, due to the changing times and the materials of which most radiators are now built, that a radiator shop like the one started by Jim Wood Sr.
