Dr. Stephen Andrew Missick, a resident of Shepherd, Texas and the pastor of King of Saints Church in Cleveland, Texas is running to represent House District 18, which consists of Liberty, San Jacinto, East Montgomery, and Hardin counties.

Coach Randy Smith was named this year as the Southeast Texas Coaches Association’s Coach of the Year for football. Smith has coached in Silsbee since 2016.

Two women were arrested by Silsbee police last Wednesday, Jan. 10, at the Jade Asian Massage Therapy Shop, which opened recently at 295 Hwy 327, about three blocks east of Fifth Street.
