Sandra Bouse Newton, 79, of New Caney, Texas, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Hermann Memorial Hospital Northeast in Humble, Texas. She was born in Houston, Texas to the late Walter and Stella York Mercer. She was a deputy sheriff for many years and had also worked for TDCJ.

Patricia Adelle “Trish” Platt Caraway, 77, of Silsbee, Texas passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024 at her home. She was born in Port Arthur, Texas to the late William Murray and Frances Juanita Barlow Platt. She was a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), working for Texas Home Health for several years.

Joseph Wilary Firmin, 96, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2024 in Beaumont, Texas. He was born in Plaucheville, Louisiana to the late Louis Firmin and Eula Du-Four-Firmin. He was a United States Navy World War II veteran and retired from Texaco with 38 years’ service.
