CLEVELAND — The Silsbee Lady Tigers posted a 3-1 record in the annual Cleveland Softball Tournament of March 5-7. In their four outings, Silsbee scored 25 runs while allowing 12.
HUNTSVILLE — The boys’ high school basketball season came to close March 6 when the Silsbee Tigers dropped a 75-66 decision to the Waxahachie Life Mustangs in the Class 4 Region 3 semi-finals at Sam Houston State University.
The Silsbee Tigers blanked the Hamshire-Fannett Longhorns, 5-0, in District 20-4A action on March 6 and are tied with the Lumberton Raiders for second place in the district standings.
